On 11 March2026, the Faculty of Science in Zagreb hosted the Work In’ Science Career Day (WISe), bringing together students, researchers, academic institutions, and organizations from different scientific fields and career paths.

It’s designed to help students explore career opportunities and connect with potential employers from different areas of science. Throughout the event, students had the chance to learn more about research institutions, ongoing projects, internship opportunities and possible career paths in science.

Four membersof the B-PaNDa project (Maja Katalinić, Matea Kurtović Kodžoman,Lucija Marcelić and Katja Vuković) took part in the event, representing the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health (IMI). Their participation provided an opportunity to introduce students to the project and to share insights into what a career in scientific research can look like.
